Like father, like daughter...

Kathryn's note: Our dad, if you can't tell from the picture, is a huge steam-engine enthusiast. He's also managed to reach the year 2008 with no: a)cel-phone or b)e-mail address. He IS using a computer to type up a history of the Asolo Theater, but I also gave him a quill pen and an inkwell for Christmas this year, just in case.

Now I've given him a hard time about his having to be dragged kicking and screaming into the twenty-first century, but I have to admit that I use the bare minimum of technology that I can to get by, and I know next to NOTHING about how any of it works. Plus, as you can see from my other account I have this odd fascination with clockwork.

Which is a long way of saying that my Dad and I will be the best equipped to survive when our technological world crashes, and civilization grinds to a halt. In theory anyway...
